The Ministry of Ayush has developed the Ayush Grid project as a comprehensive IT backbone for the Ayush sector, aimed at digitizing service delivery and strengthening transparency, efficiency, and governance across healthcare, research, education, drug administration, capacity building, and medicinal plants. The initiative serves as the IT backbone driving digital transformation by integrating advanced technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) across functional areas including Healthcare, Research & Development, and Education & Awareness.
Under this initiative, twenty-four e-governance platforms have been developed and made accessible nationwide. The My Ayush Integrated Services Portal (MAISP) functions as the master portal integrating all Ayush-related applications and services into a unified digital ecosystem, featuring an AI-enabled chatbot (Beta version) to assist visitors and enhance user experience. The portal facilitates citizen-centric access to various services and schemes while enabling real-time monitoring and data-driven decision-making, accessible at maisp.ayush.gov.in.
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM)-compliant Ayush Hospital Management Information System (AHMIS) has been deployed to digitize healthcare delivery and improve management of Ayush health facilities. The Ayush Anudan Portal streamlines submission, processing, approval, and monitoring of funding proposals under various Central Sector Schemes of the Ministry. The AI-enabled Ayush Research Portal serves as a centralized digital repository containing over 43,000 curated Ayush research publications, facilitating access for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
Additional platforms include the Ayush Nivesh Saarthi Portal, which serves as a dedicated gateway for domestic and international investors in the Ayush sector by providing comprehensive investment opportunity information. The e-Charak portal functions as a virtual marketplace and information platform for the medicinal plants sector, connecting farmers, collectors, buyers, manufacturers, and exporters while integrating an AI assistant for resolving user queries.
Further digital platforms developed include the Ayurveda Grantha Samuccaya Digital Library by Ayush Grid, and Ayush Manuscripts Advanced Repository (AMAR), Showcase of Ayurvedic Historical Imprints (SAHI), and E-Medical Heritage Accession (E-Medha) developed by Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) under the Ministry of Ayush, which help digitize ancient texts and manuscripts.
Collectively, these e-governance tools are accessible to everyone and have strengthened service delivery, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced transparency and accountability across the Ayush ecosystem.
