Cabinet approves Fair and Remunerative Price of Rs.365/qtl for sugarcane for 2026-27 season at 10.25% recovery rate.
FRP includes Rs.3.56/qtl premium for each 0.1% recovery increase above 10.25% and no deduction below 9.5% recovery.
FRP is 100.5% above production cost of Rs.182/qtl and 2.81% higher than current season 2025-26.
