The Capacity Building Commission (CBC) is organizing Sādhana Shrinkhla 2026, a nationwide series of regional consultative workshops aimed at transforming Training Institutes under Mission Karmayogi into strategic, competency-driven Capacity Building Institutions. This initiative builds on previous consultations including four Regional Task Forces, Sādhana Saptah 2026 held from April 2-8, 2026, and the National Departmental Summit on Institutionalizing Capacity Building held on May 15, 2026.
The regional workshop series includes four events: Southern Region in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (September 29-30, 2026), Northeastern Region in Guwahati, Assam (October 9-10, 2026), Northern Region in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (October 23-24, 2026), and Western Region in Pune, Maharashtra (November 16-17, 2026, to be confirmed). Each workshop will be graced by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of the host state and the Hon'ble Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh. The inaugural event in Vijayawada will specifically feature Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu.
The workshops will bring together senior officials from respective States/UTs, heads and faculty of Training Institutes from States/UTs, PSUs, industry partners, subject matter experts, and startup representatives. The objective is to develop frameworks for institutional governance, operational effectiveness, training quality enhancement aligned to Karmayogi Quality Framework (KQF), faculty competency development, and adoption of digital technologies.
Implementation will be anchored through the Unified New-Age National Training Initiative (UNNATI) portal, which connects more than 900 Training Institutions on a single platform. The UNNATI Exchange (UXchange) will facilitate sharing of training courses, faculty, and infrastructure across the network. The initiative supports Mission Karmayogi's goal of equipping all levels of government officials from ASHA workers to secretaries with capabilities required for Viksit Bharat @ 2047 objectives, advancing citizen-centric governance principles (Nagrik Devo Bhava) through regional consultation (Jan Bhagidari).
