The Ministry of Home Affairs has established a total of 83 training institutions for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) across India, with ongoing expansion, modernization, and upgradation of these training centers conducted on a requirement basis. The procurement of motor vehicles, technical gadgets, and creation of manpower for training purposes has been carried out periodically. Two new training facilities have been approved: a Central Jungle Warfare College (CRPF) in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh and a Regional Training Centre (CISF) in Kishanganj district, Bihar. This information was provided by Minister of State Shri Nityanand Rai in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha on August 11, 2026.
