CCI Extends Cotton Procurement in Maharashtra to March 2026

The procurement deadline for cotton in Maharashtra was extended to March 15, 2026, to enable more farmers to benefit from MSP operations.
For the 2025-26 season, MSP for medium staple cotton is ₹7,710/quintal and for long staple is ₹8,110/quintal, with increases from previous years.
CCI procured over 2.7 million bales in Maharashtra for 2025-26 via 168 centers across 21 districts, using digital tools like KapasKisan App.
