Representatives of the Central Secretariat Group-C Employees' Association, representing over 8,000 Group-C employees across 135 Ministries, Departments and Organisations, thanked Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh for his frequent interactions and receptiveness to their service-related inputs. During the meeting, employees raised concerns regarding career progression, cadre review, and the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE).
Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized the government's commitment to providing a work-friendly environment to keep employees motivated and ensure effective administration. He revealed that the government has cleared over 23,000 promotions during the last 12 years, with specific reference to more than 8,000 promotions affected on June 30, 2022 alone, and over 16,200 promotion orders issued between 2022 and 2024 across various grades.
The Minister assured that genuine service issues raised by employees would be considered through appropriate institutional mechanisms, particularly noting that inputs on cadre review and career progression would receive proper examination. He encouraged continued constructive engagement between employee representatives and concerned authorities to address legitimate service concerns while maintaining administrative efficiency.
