IndiaAI Fellowship Awards to Chandigarh University Students
Seven Computer Science Engineering students from Chandigarh University have been selected for the IndiaAI Fellowship for the academic year 2025‑26, each receiving a grant of Rs 1 lakh to pursue AI and machine‑learning projects. The award is part of the IndiaAI Mission, which aims to bridge the gap between theory and practical application and to develop a skilled AI workforce across India’s top academic institutions.

University Profile and Research Ecosystem
Chandigarh University, a NAAC‑A+ graded and QS‑world‑ranked institution approved by the UGC, reports more than 25,000 research publications, over 6,000 patents filed (5,800 published and 260 granted), 56 government‑funded research projects and 12 projects with international collaboration. Its Technology Business Incubator has launched more than 250 student start‑ups.
