The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) released its 51st monthly report on the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) for July 2026, providing detailed analysis of public grievance types, categories, and disposal patterns across Central Ministries and Departments.
In July 2026, Central Ministries/Departments redressed a total of 216,827 grievances, maintaining the trend of exceeding 100,000 monthly disposals for the 49th consecutive month in the Central Secretariat. The average grievance disposal time across Central Ministries/Departments for 2026 stood at 12 days. The system received 220,909 new grievance cases in July 2026, with a pendency of 83,866 cases remaining at month-end.
User registration data shows 107,186 new users registered on CPGRAMS in July 2026 through various channels, representing the highest monthly registration figure for 2026. State-wise registration breakdown shows Uttar Pradesh led with 17,819 registrations, followed by West Bengal (12,982) and Maharashtra (10,156).
The report also details integration with Common Service Centres (CSCs), noting that CPGRAMS is available at over 500,000 CSCs associated with 250,000 Village Level Entrepreneurs. In July 2026, 9,475 grievances were registered through CSC portals.
The Review Meeting Module, operational since July 14, 2025, facilitates Secretary-level reviews of public grievances. As of July 31, 2026, a total of 398 review meetings have been conducted, with 17 meetings held specifically in July 2026.
Appeal statistics show 19,778 appeals were received in July 2026, with 24,312 appeals disposed during the month. The appeal pendency for July 2026 was recorded at 17,219 cases.
The Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index (GRAI) rankings for July 2026 identified top performers: In Group A (≥500 grievances), Department of Posts, Department of Telecommunications, and Department of Financial Services (Insurance Division) ranked highest. In Group B (<500 grievances), Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Department of Official Language, and Ministry of Textiles were top performers.
