DAHD Launches DBIM-Compliant Website to Strengthen Digital Governance

The Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD), Government of India, launched its DBIM-compliant website on October 13, 2026, developed in alignment with the Digital Brand Identity Manual (DBIM) Version 3.0 introduced by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Union Minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh stated that this initiative represents an important step toward strengthening digital presence and making government services more accessible, transparent, and citizen-centric, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for Digital India and Minimum Government, Maximum Governance.

The revamped website features advanced search capabilities, multi-language support through Bhashini integration, persona-led navigation, and centralized content management to enhance accessibility, uniformity, and ease of navigation for users. It serves as a one-stop digital hub showcasing the department's flagship schemes and initiatives including the Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF), Rashtriya Gokul Mission (RGM), National Livestock Mission (NLM), and Livestock Health and Disease Control Programme (LHDCP).

The website provides easy access to scheme-related information, guidelines, resources, and relevant digital platforms, enabling stakeholders to stay informed about departmental initiatives and their implementation. It specifically offers information on livestock health, animal husbandry schemes, dairy development, and livestock management. The Minister congratulated the DAHD IT team and NIC for their efforts in developing the platform and encouraged all stakeholders to explore the enhanced features available at www.dahd.gov.in.
