The Department of Financial Services (DFS) under the Ministry of Finance was awarded the First Prize under 'Rajbhasha Kirti' in the category of ministries/departments with fewer than 300 personnel. The award recognizes outstanding implementation and innovative achievements in Official Language Hindi during the year 2025-26.
The award was presented during the 6th All India Official Language Conference and Hindi Diwas organized by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, under the chairmanship of Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah. The conference took place on September 14-15, 2026, at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
Additional Secretary Shri Hari Har Mishra received the prestigious award on behalf of the Department of Financial Services from the Union Minister. The award was conferred for the department's outstanding implementation, effective use, and innovative achievements in Official Language Hindi, specifically for noteworthy efforts toward effective implementation of the Official Language, encouraging maximum use of Hindi in the department, and promoting innovative and creative use of Hindi in official work.
