Collaboration aims to strengthen multilingual digital capabilities across India's industry and internal trade ecosystem through BHASHINI Platform
Will support all 22 languages recognized under the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India
Initiatives include BHASHINI Udyat, Mitra, Appmitra, and Pravakta
Technical components: translation API integration, domain-specific language model development, multilingual glossary creation, voice-enabled technologies, linguistic dataset
BHASHINI currently powers over 800 government websites
Processes more than 15 million inferences daily
Supports 36 Indian text languages, 23 Indian voice languages, and 35 international languages
Focus areas: investment promotion, industrial development, innovation, and entrepreneurship-related domains
Target beneficiaries: entrepreneurs, startups, investors, businesses, and citizens
Will include language data contributions, awareness initiatives, capacity-building efforts
