DoLR and ADB Explore Land Governance, Watershed Collaboration

Department of Land Resources and ADB held an introductory meeting to discuss potential collaboration on land governance and watershed management initiatives.
DoLR reported that Unique Land Parcel Identification Numbers (ULPIN) have been generated for approximately 66% of India's agricultural land parcels.
The Department is rolling out DILRMP 3.0 to strengthen land governance through technological interventions and dynamic record updation.
Both parties discussed technical assistance, policy support, and knowledge sharing for sustainable land and watershed management systems.
