The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) successfully concluded Special Campaign 3, a focused initiative running from July 7 to August 31, 2026, aimed at resolving long-pending pension grievances. The campaign achieved a 72% redressal rate, resolving 2,306 out of 3,193 identified cases through coordinated efforts across 40 ministries and departments.

During the preparatory phase, ministries identified 1,062 target cases plus 2,131 additional grievances pending for over one month on the CPENGRAMS portal. The execution phase involved active coordination, two mid-campaign review meetings, and regular status updates. Notably, the demographic distribution showed most resolved cases pertained to pensioners and family pensioners in rural areas, demonstrating the campaign's success in bridging the digital divide through online grievance portals.

The campaign resulted in significant financial settlements for beneficiaries, including: Jayalakshmi Karnan received ₹16.70 lakh in family pension arrears from June 2013; Idan Singh received ₹30 lakh disability pension arrears from September 2016; Kapur Singh received ₹26.12 lakh war injury element arrears from January 2006; Rukmani Nair received ₹19 lakh dual family pension arrears from September 2012; Saranjit Kaur received ₹18.57 lakh special family pension arrears with interest and ₹12.60 lakh ex gratia arrears with interest from July 2008; Sunaina Kumari received ₹6.27 lakh family pension arrears from March 2022; Simarto received ₹10.66 lakh liberalized family pension arrears from January 1996; Angoori Devi received ₹37.40 lakh difference between Ordinary and Special Family pension from January 1996; Ranjit Singh received ₹25.99 lakh time-barred service pension arrears from October 2004 to December 2023; and Koranga Lakshmi received ₹30.15 lakh family pension arrears from June 2011 to February 2026.
