The Department of Telecommunications has launched the implementation phase of Special Campaign 6, following the conclusion of the Swachhata Hi Seva-2026 Campaign. The launch was marked by tree plantation by Union Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, accompanied by a commitment to resolve pending public issues and related matters.

During the identification phase completed by September 30, 2026, the Department identified specific targets for disposal of various pending matters. These include 55 VIP references, 2,270 public grievances, and 640 public grievance appeals. Additionally, the Department has set a target to review and weed out 12,513 physical files as part of the campaign.

The campaign spans more than 450 sites across DoT's organizations, field offices, PSUs, attached offices, autonomous bodies, and field offices pan-India. During the implementation phase running from October 2 to October 31, 2026, the Department and its entities will dispose of identified scrap and e-waste. This disposal aims to free up office space, generate revenue, and foster a clean and healthy workplace environment to keep employees focused, safe, and productive.

The Department expressed full dedication to driving the campaign's success and aims to deliver impactful results while contributing meaningfully to the overarching vision of the initiative.
