The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) under the Ministry of Finance has implemented Special Campaign 6 as part of the government's ongoing initiative to improve swachhata (cleanliness) and dispose of pending references. The campaign aims to achieve saturation of swachhata in all offices with particular emphasis on effective collection, segregation, and disposal of e-waste.
The campaign is structured in three distinct phases: a preparatory phase from September 15-30, 2026; an implementation phase from October 2-31, 2026; and an evaluation phase from November 16-30, 2026. During the preparatory phase, DPE identified specific targets including disposal of all public grievances, review of 325 files for record management, efficient utilization of office space, workplace improvement initiatives, and social media outreach.
During the implementation phase from October 2-31, 2026, DPE is focusing on achieving these identified targets while strengthening swachhata efforts, minimizing pendency, improving record management, and ensuring efficient utilization of office resources. The department remains committed to the campaign's objectives of improving administrative efficiency through timely grievance disposal and systematic review of records. This initiative continues the government's practice of organizing special campaigns annually since 2021 for improving cleanliness and disposal of pending references across government offices.
