The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) under the Ministry of Finance has launched Special Campaign 6 as part of the ongoing government initiative that began in 2021 to improve office cleanliness and administrative efficiency. The campaign aims to achieve saturation of swachhata (cleanliness) across all offices with particular emphasis on effective collection, segregation, and disposal of e-waste.

The campaign is structured in three distinct phases: a preparatory phase from September 15 to September 30, 2026; an implementation phase from October 2 to October 31, 2026; and an evaluation phase from November 16 to November 30, 2026. During the preparatory phase, DPE identified specific targets including disposal of all public grievances, systematic review of 325 files for record management, efficient utilization of office space, workplace improvement initiatives, and social media outreach.

The implementation phase focuses on achieving these identified targets through strengthened swachhata measures, minimization of pendency, improved record management, and efficient utilization of office resources. The campaign represents DPE's continued commitment to the government's special campaign objectives for administrative improvement and workplace cleanliness.
