Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society Learning Journey
On October 22, 2026, Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society announced that it took 284 students from Grades VI‑XII on an eight‑day Educational Experiential Learning Journey across multiple Indian states. The programme, conducted in the spirit of the Government of India’s Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) campaign, aimed to connect classroom learning with real‑world experience by exposing students to the country’s heritage, culture, history and geography.
The itinerary was structured around ten learning lenses, each focusing on a different facet of a state’s identity – history, architecture, geography, language, literature, traditions, music, cuisine and tourism. Students were encouraged to observe, research, ask questions and relate their observations to classroom lessons, thereby developing communication, adaptability, independence and cultural sensitivity.
Chairman Mr Om Pathak stated, “To know where we are going, our children must first know where they come from… Learning to understand and respect this diversity is one of the most important lessons we can give them.” His remarks underscored the belief that appreciating regional differences strengthens national unity, the core spirit of EBSB.
Delhi Public School Ghaziabad Society, founded in 1980, operates eight schools serving more than 20,000 students. Its curriculum, designed by over 650 educators and academic leaders, integrates academics, sports and experiential learning to foster curiosity, creativity, critical thinking and lifelong learning. The society’s students have consistently performed well in board and competitive examinations, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
