The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways announced that the FASTag Annual Pass has crossed the significant milestone of one crore passes issued since its launch on 15th August 2025. This achievement reflects strong adoption among National Highway users, particularly private vehicle owners who benefit from the seamless and economical travel option. The Annual Pass is applicable on approximately 1,150 fee plazas across National Highways and National Expressways, eliminating the need for frequent FASTag recharges through a one-time fee payment of Rs. 3,075. This payment provides either one year validity or 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever comes first. The pass is available for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag and gets activated on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle after payment is made through the Rajmargyatra App. The growing uptake demonstrates the program's effectiveness in promoting efficient highway travel across the country.
