The Ministry of Culture disclosed detailed information about the auctions of mementos and gifts presented to the Prime Minister, revealing total collections of Rs 52.19 crore across seven auction editions conducted between 2021 and 2025. The government received varying amounts from each edition: Rs 3.1 crore (1st edition, 2021), Rs 3.6 crore (2nd edition, 2022), Rs 15.8 crore (3rd edition, 2023), Rs 14.4 crore (4th edition, 2023), Rs 11.16 crore (5th edition, 2024), Rs 2.24 crore (6th edition, 2024), and Rs 1.89 crore (7th edition, 2025).

The e-auctions were consistently organized during September-October periods each year: 17th September to 7th October (2021), 17th September to 12th October (2022), and 17th September to 31st October (2023, 2024, and 2025). Notably, the National Gallery of Modern Arts (NGMA) did not organize any such auctions before 2019. This information was formally provided by Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in a written reply presented in the Lok Sabha.
