The document highlights how financial assistance enabled Anu Priya, a 20-year-old OBC category student from a rural background, to pursue her B.Tech education despite significant financial constraints.
Anu Priya's family had an annual income of ₹99,000, which made managing higher education expenses challenging. The scholarship support of ₹7,50,000 provided during 2024–2026 covered essential educational expenses including academic fees, books, study materials, and other study-related requirements. This financial assistance significantly reduced the burden on her family and allowed uninterrupted continuation of her education.
The support enabled Anu Priya to focus more effectively on her studies and career goals rather than worrying about educational expenses. Currently pursuing her B.Tech second year, her family's income has increased to approximately ₹1,20,000 annually, though still limited for managing higher education costs. The case study illustrates how government scholarship programs help students from economically weaker backgrounds overcome financial barriers and pursue academic aspirations with greater confidence and motivation.
