The Indian government has extended the Samarth scheme for textiles skilling for two years, from 2024-25 to 2025-26.
Over 3.9 lakh beneficiaries were trained in the last five years, with over 2 lakh trained in the current year.
The scheme has placed over 4.6 lakh beneficiaries in jobs and has 4,430 active training centers nationwide.
