The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare successfully achieved 100% of targets under Special Campaign 6, conducted from 2nd to 31st October 2026. Cleanliness drives were undertaken at 1,62,325 sites across the Department's Headquarters, Central Government Hospitals, Attached and Subordinate Offices, Autonomous Bodies, and Central Public Sector Undertakings nationwide. The campaign resulted in the disposal of 12,840 public grievances and 6,026 associated appeals, while 119 references from Members of Parliament were addressed. Additionally, 19 rules and processes were simplified to streamline administrative procedures.

Records management achievements included reviewing 1,25,114 physical files and weeding out 1,20,115 files, along with reviewing 37,481 e-files and closing 32,542 e-files. These initiatives reclaimed 5,82,449 square feet of office space. The disposal of scrap and e-waste generated revenue exceeding ₹1 crore while promoting responsible management of obsolete materials.

The progress was regularly reviewed under the guidance of the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare and the Union Health Secretary, with achievements uploaded on the Special Campaign portal of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. The campaign demonstrated the Ministry's commitment to efficient, accountable, and citizen-centric governance through institutional cleanliness and administrative efficiency.
