India's exports of Ayush-related products have demonstrated significant growth over a six-year period from fiscal year 2020-21 to 2025-26. According to data compiled by Research and Information Systems for Developing Countries (RIS) using Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence and Statistics (DGCI&S) sources, total Ayush exports increased from USD 869.81 million in FY2020-21 to USD 1,251.25 million in FY2025-26, representing a 44% overall growth and registering a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.54%.
The export data is broken down into three main product categories. Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) exports reached USD 456.34 million in FY2025-26, having fluctuated from USD 335.07 million in FY2020-21 to a peak of USD 529.07 million in FY2024-25. Extracts constituted the largest export category at USD 593.06 million in FY2025-26, showing consistent growth from USD 368.89 million in FY2020-21 with a peak of USD 551.67 million in FY2024-25. Ayush Pharma products exports reached USD 201.85 million in FY2025-26, having varied between USD 165.85 million in FY2020-21 and USD 200.83 million in FY2022-23.
