Defence exports reached a record Rs 38,424 crore in FY 2025-26, marking a 62.66% increase over the previous fiscal year.
DPSUs led the growth with exports surging 151%, while private sector exports increased by 14% year-on-year.
India exported defence equipment to over 80 countries, with the number of exporters increasing 13.3% to 145 companies.
