India March 2026 WPI Inflation Rises to 3.88%

India's wholesale price index (WPI) annual inflation reached 3.88% in March 2026, up from 2.13% in February.
Primary Articles inflation surged to 6.36%, driven by a 36.16% monthly increase in crude petroleum & natural gas prices.
Fuel & Power index rose 4.13% month-over-month, while Manufactured Products inflation increased to 3.39%.
The WPI Food Index remained stable at 1.85% annual inflation, with the index marginally decreasing to 192.8.
