India and New Zealand signed a Free Trade Agreement on April 27, 2026, providing zero-duty access for Indian textile exports.
New Zealand's global textile imports total $1.93 billion across apparel ($1.27B), madeups ($0.33B), and textiles ($0.33B) categories.
India's current bilateral textile exports to New Zealand stand at $0.1 billion out of total $0.65 billion exports.
The FTA eliminates 5-10% MFN tariffs on 575 dutiable lines including apparel, carpets, MMF, and madeups.
