Union Minister Shekhawat announced the return of three sacred bronzes from the US, highlighting cultural heritage restoration efforts.
The bronzes include a 990 CE Shiva Nataraja, a 12th-century Somaskanda, and a 16th-century Saint Sundarar, all traced to Tamil Nadu temples.
India has successfully repatriated 666 antiquities since 2014, with 657 more from US agencies awaiting verification and transport.
ASI conducted provenance research using archival records and photos to facilitate the coordinated repatriation process.
