India's Space Economy Projected to Reach $100 Billion by 2040

India's space economy was $8.4 billion (2% of global) in 2023, projected to reach $44 billion by 2033 and $100 billion by 2040.
The government has liberalized the sector, allowing 100% FDI and establishing a ₹1,000 crore VC fund and a ₹500 crore tech adoption fund.
Key initiatives include the Indian Space Policy 2023, discounted pricing for private firms, and programs for technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
