India Seafood Exports Hit Record ₹72,326 Crore FY26

India's seafood exports reached all-time high of ₹72,325.82 crore ($8.28B) in FY25-26 with 19.32 lakh metric tonnes volume.
Frozen shrimp dominated exports with ₹47,973.13 crore ($5.51B), growing 4.6% in volume and 6.35% in value.
US remained top importer at $2.32B despite 19.8% volume decline, offset by 22.7% growth to China and 37.9% to EU.
Government initiatives included 211 new export approvals, MMPA compliance, TED devices, and National Traceability Framework.
