India's seafood exports reached a record ₹72,325.82 crore ($8.28B) with 19.32 lakh metric tonnes volume in FY25-26.
Frozen shrimp contributed ₹47,973.13 crore ($5.51B), accounting for over two-thirds of total export earnings.
US remained top destination at $2.32B despite 19.8% volume and 14.5% value decline due to reciprocal tariffs.
Strong growth in China (22.7% value), EU (37.9% value), and Southeast Asia (36.1% value) offset US decline.
