India's international trade in services for September 2026 recorded receipts (exports) of US$39,305 million, representing a 7.2 % increase over the same month in the previous year. Payments (imports) amounted to US$20,097 million, a 12.6 % year‑on‑year rise. The data for July, August and September are provisional, and the growth rates shown have been revised on the basis of balance of payments statistics.

Comparatively, exports rose from US$35,471 million in August to US$39,305 million in September, while imports increased from US$18,934 million to US$20,097 million over the same period. Earlier, July figures were US$38,253 million in exports and US$20,606 million in imports.

These figures indicate a widening services trade surplus for the month, driven by higher export growth, albeit with imports also accelerating.

Overall, the provisional nature of the data suggests that final figures may be adjusted in subsequent releases.
