The Ministry of Culture has upgraded the Indian Culture Portal to version 2.0 with a modern React-based architecture for improved performance.
From April 2025 to March 2026, the portal attracted 119,684 visitors to museum collections.
New features include 3D exploration and a section on Iconic Battles of India for enhanced user engagement.
