Cabinet approves ₹20,667 crore semi high-speed rail project connecting Ahmedabad to Dholera with 134 km new line.
Project to be completed by 2030-31 using indigenously developed technology, reducing travel time for daily commuters.
Will connect Dholera SIR, upcoming airport and Lothal heritage complex, enhancing mobility for 5 lakh people across 284 villages.
Expected to save 0.48 crore litres of oil imports and reduce CO2 emissions by 2 crore kg annually.
