Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia released a commemorative postage stamp in honor of Sant Malook Das ji on September 15, 2026. The stamp was issued by the Department of Posts, Government of India, during the Sant Samagam event organized in memory of the saint. Minister Scindia stated that the stamp serves to connect Sant Malook Das ji's message of devotion, service, and humanity with national memory, preserving his rich tradition of knowledge, compassion, and public welfare that has guided generations.
The release ceremony was attended by saints, mahatmas, revered Swami Rajendra Das Devacharya Ji Maharaj, office bearers of Shri Malook Peeth Seva Sansthan Nyas, and devotees from across the country. Scindia noted the symbolic timing of the release coinciding with the inauguration of Shri Ram Katha, emphasizing that Sant Malook Das ji was a devoted follower of Lord Ram who embodied principles of duty, sacrifice, truth, compassion, justice, and public welfare in his life philosophy.
The Minister connected the stamp release to broader national initiatives under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, referencing India's simultaneous economic development and cultural confidence. He cited specific projects including the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Mahakal Lok, and the preservation of spiritual and cultural heritage sites across the country as evidence that development and culture are complementary rather than opposing forces in modern India.
