The District Opium Office, Mandsaur Second Division organized an awareness program under Mission Yuva Raksha at Sharda Public School, Pipliya Mandi on October 1, 2026. The program aimed to sensitize students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promote the importance of a drug-free life. Participants were provided information about the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), including its role, functions, and contribution toward preventing drug abuse and enforcing narcotics-related laws.

A Question-and-Answer Competition was organized to make the awareness activities more interactive and participatory. Through this competition, students were educated about how drug abuse adversely affects physical and mental health, family life, education, career, and overall future. The program shared important information about the harmful effects of various addictive substances, preventive measures, and the role of youth in building a drug-free society.

At the conclusion, approximately 150 participating students and other participants took a Drug-Free India Pledge, committing to stay away from drugs and contribute actively toward creating a healthy and drug-free society. The program was conducted with coordination from the Principal of Sharda Public School and received highly positive and encouraging feedback from participants. The event successfully aimed to motivate young people to contribute toward building a drug-free, healthy, and responsible society.
