The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) successfully concluded its nationwide Special Campaign 6.0 on Swachchta, achieving significant results in office optimization, cleanliness, record management, and public grievance redressal. The ministry fully achieved its target by conducting 75 cleanliness campaigns, which resulted in freeing up 23,285 square feet of office space and generating total revenue of ₹11,41,975. A substantial portion of this revenue (₹5,22,000) came from e-waste recycling of IT, telecommunication, consumer electronics, and electrical equipment.
In record management, the ministry reviewed 3,658 physical files out of a targeted 9,309 items for review, successfully weeding and closing them. The campaign also demonstrated high efficiency in public grievance handling, resolving 322 out of 330 public grievances and clearing 342 out of 435 public grievance appeals. Additionally, MCA successfully addressed and expedited references from Members of Parliament, the Prime Minister's Office, and State Governments.
The successful culmination of Special Campaign 6.0 reflects MCA's continuous drive toward administrative efficiency, transparency, and citizen-centric governance, showcasing the ministry's commitment to maintaining clean and efficient workspace operations.
