The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) and its organisations are actively implementing Special Campaign 6.0 in accordance with guidelines issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG). The campaign focuses on promoting cleanliness, optimizing office space, strengthening record management, and ensuring timely disposal of pending matters.

As of 30 October 2026, significant progress has been made toward campaign targets. A total of 11 cleanliness drives have been conducted, and 4,052 e-files have been reviewed against the target of 5,650. Space optimization efforts have resulted in 1,160 square feet of office space being freed up. The campaign's progress and achievements have been disseminated through several social media posts to enhance visibility of the initiatives.

Pendency reduction efforts have shown results, with four of six references from Members of Parliament addressed. All three Inter-Ministerial Committee references and all three public grievances have been disposed of, reflecting the ministry's focus on responsive governance and time-bound resolution of pending matters. The campaign continues to focus on cleanliness drives, the Clean Desk Campaign, review and closure of eligible e-files, disposal of obsolete materials and e-waste, optimum utilization of office space, and time-bound disposal of pending references.

MDoNER remains committed to sustaining the momentum of Special Campaign 6.0 and institutionalizing Swachhata, efficient record management, and administrative efficiency as integral elements of routine office functioning.
