Mexico Inflation Rises to 4.37%, Growth Trimmed

Banco de Mexico's survey of 43 economists raised the year‑end 2026 inflation outlook to 4.37% from 4.22%.
The 2026 GDP growth projection was cut to 1.35% from 1.44%, while the 2027 forecast was nudged up to 1.82%.
Economists now expect the peso to end 2026 at 18.02 per dollar, stronger than the prior 18.11 forecast.
The 2027 year‑end exchange rate projection was adjusted to 18.55 pesos per dollar, up from 18.65.
