The Ministry of Home Affairs has operationalized the Land Port Management System (VINIMAY) at 10 Integrated Check Posts (ICPs) across seven Indian states. The system has been deployed at Agartala and Srimantapur in Tripura, Darranga and Sutarkandi in Assam, Rupaidiha in Uttar Pradesh, Raxaul and Jogbani in Bihar, Petrapole in West Bengal, Dawki in Meghalaya, and Attari in Punjab.
The digital platform integrates with multiple government systems including the Unified Logistics Platform (ULIP), ICEGATE (Indian Customs Electronic Gateway), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) systems, and the Goods and Services Tax (GST) network. The LPMS serves as a comprehensive digital platform for managing operations at all existing and future Integrated Check Posts, facilitating streamlined border management and trade operations.
This information was formally disclosed by Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs Shri Nityanand Rai in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, indicating the government's focus on modernizing border infrastructure through digital solutions. The system represents a significant step in digitizing cross-border logistics and regulatory compliance processes.
