The scheme includes specific infrastructure funding allocations: ₹17,000 per Anganwadi Center for providing drinking water facilities and ₹36,000 per center for construction of toilets. These funds are provided to States and UTs to improve infrastructure facilities at AWCs.
The Ministry maintains regular engagement with States and UTs through sustained engagements and video conferences to ensure uninterrupted delivery of services to beneficiaries.
