Infrastructure development includes significant expansion of the national highway network and rapid progress in railway electrification, complemented by Vande Bharat trains and railway station redevelopment projects.
Defence production has seen remarkable growth, with exports increasing from approximately ₹600 crore in 2013-14 to around ₹30,000 crore in 2025-26. The minister emphasized the importance of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in solving citizen challenges and encouraged recruits to maintain integrity, verify facts, and avoid blindly following established processes.
Dr. Pemmasani shared his personal journey from modest background to doctor, entrepreneur, and public representative, stressing the values of learning, adaptability, and perseverance. He urged new employees to remain open to diverse postings, languages, and working environments while maintaining focus on citizen service through technology-driven solutions.
