The Ministry of Culture has extended the 8th edition of the PM Mementos e-auction until October 31, 2026, featuring 30 distinct mementos from Delhi that were presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The collection includes nine photo frames, nine mementos, six idols/sculptures/statues, two Delhi Metro models, one sports memorabilia item, one painting, and various art and craft items.
Religious and cultural artifacts form a significant portion of the collection, with four pieces depicting Lord Ram or Ramayana scenes: a Ram Darbar sculpture, brass plaque showing Ram, Sita and Lakshman crossing a river with Kevat, painting of Saint Dada Dev from Palam Village, and carved wooden statue of Ram Lalla. The collection also includes Buddhist religious artifacts featuring the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Ashtamangala.
Delhi's institutional heritage is represented through a framed artwork of St. Stephen's College, crystal memento of the Old Secretariat building, and textile artwork of the New Parliament Building. The collection also features items connected to public achievements including a detailed pencil sketch portrait of Prime Minister Modi by a Rohini student, the competition discus of Paralympic silver medallist Yogesh Kathuniya, and the NCC's gold-polished Param Vir Mati Kalash. A unique portrait rendered on a natural, skeletonised Bodhi leaf is also included.
All auction proceeds will be directed to the Namami Gange Project, a government initiative for Ganga river conservation. Public bidding is available through the official PM Mementos e-Auction portal at pmmementos.gov.in, where participants can view the complete catalogue and auction details.
