The Ministry of Women and Child Development has issued a renewed call for nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar Awards 2026, with the submission deadline set for July 31, 2026. All nominations must be submitted exclusively through the online portal https://awards.gov.in.
These awards recognize exceptional achievements by children between the ages of 5 and 18 years across six categories: Sports, Social Service, Science and Technology, Environment, Art and Culture, as well as acts of bravery in challenging circumstances. The nomination process is open to any citizen, school, institution, or organization, and children may also submit self-nominations.
Applicants are required to provide basic personal details, select the award category, upload a recent photograph and supporting documents, and submit a detailed write-up of up to 1000 words describing their achievements and impact. The Ministry specifically encourages schools, youth groups, NGOs, panchayats, and individuals to identify and support potential nominees during this final month of the nomination period.
