Ministry of Women and Child Development launches 8th Poshan Pakhwada from 9th to 23rd April 2026 with focus on maximizing brain development in first six years.
Campaign focuses on maternal nutrition, breastfeeding, early stimulation, play-based education, and reducing screen time for children.
National launch event scheduled for 9th April 2026 at Vigyan Bhavan with participation from ministers and government officials.
Activities will be organized through Anganwadi Centers with community participation across all states and union territories.
