The Ministry of Rural Development has achieved significant digital mapping of rural households and women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM). A total of 10.05 crore rural households and 92 lakh women SHGs have been mapped on the DAY-NRLM digital platform, representing substantial coverage of rural communities.
The Ministry maintains detailed financial data through the SHG Bank Linkage Portal, which captures credit access information for SHGs from banks. The total credit disbursement to SHGs has reached Rs. 13,41,852.66 crores, indicating substantial financial support provided to women-led community organizations.
To enhance operational efficiency, a dedicated mobile application has been developed to capture and manage profiles of entrepreneurs and their enterprises. The ministry conducts training on the operation and use of this application for concerned stakeholders, and data entry is carried out through the application. This digital tool supports planning, monitoring, and strengthening of rural livelihoods under the DAY-NRLM framework.
