The Ministry of Coal organized a series of activities on October 1, 2026, under the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 and Special Campaign 6 initiatives, focusing on cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and community welfare. Secretary Shri Vikram Dev Dutt inaugurated an E-Waste Kiosk at the Main Entrance Lobby of GPOA-3, which will remain operational until 31 October 2026 to facilitate collection of electronic waste and promote sustainable waste management practices. This was followed by a cleanliness drive titled "Ek Din, Ek Saath, Ek Ghanta" along the service road near the metro exit gate and GPOA-3 entry gate, with active participation from senior officers and officials. Additionally, a Blood Donation Camp was organized near the Entry Gate of GPOA-3, where officers and officials contributed to the cause. The initiatives involved participation from Additional Secretaries Shri Sanoj Kumar Jha and Smt. Rupinder Brar along with other senior officers, reinforcing themes of collective responsibility, environmental sustainability, and social welfare.
