Ministry of Mines Announces ₹5,000 Crore Mining Reforms Incentive

Ministry of Mines issues ₹5,000 crore incentive scheme for state mining reforms under SASCI FY 2026-27.
States can earn ₹100 crore for implementing five key mining reforms by December 15, 2026.
Additional incentives include ₹20 crore per pre-cleared block auctioned and ₹250 crore for operationalizing blocks.
Top three states in each SMRI 2026-27 category to receive ₹100 crore, ₹75 crore, and ₹50 crore awards.
