Ministry of Panchayati Raj PAI 2.0 Report Release

Ministry of Panchayati Raj released Panchayat Advancement Index 2.0 report with 97.3% national participation from 259,867 Gram Panchayats.
3,635 Gram Panchayats achieved Front Runner status while 118,824 were classified as Performers in the FY 2023-24 assessment.
Top performing themes were Poverty Free & Enhanced Livelihoods (3,313 A+ grade) and Healthy Panchayats (1,015 A+ grade).
PAI 2.0 evaluates 150 indicators across 9 SDG themes, rationalized from 516 indicators in previous version.
