The Ministry of Steel will conduct an Open House on July 9, 2026, to address issues related to steel imports. The event will take place from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the Steel Room, 3rd Floor, GPOA-3, Netaji Nagar, New Delhi. Companies and associations are invited to present their concerns specifically related to SIMS (Steel Import Monitoring System), SARAL SIMS, and QCO (Quality Control Order) exemptions for steel imports.
Participation requires prior registration by sending an email to tech-steel[at]nic[dot]in by July 6, 2026, at 4:00 pm to secure confirmed time slots. Walk-in participants will not be accommodated due to logistical constraints. Each organization is limited to one representative to ensure broader participation, and third-party representations are explicitly prohibited.
The registration email must include seven specific details: the name of the company/association, type of industry and product (such as Auto, Aerospace, Telecom, or Defence), whether the issue relates to SIMS, SARAL SIMS, or QCO exemption, reference of any relevant application, a brief description of the issue (maximum 50 words), name and designation of the participant, and contact details including mobile number and email. The Ministry will confirm specific time slots via email response to registered participants.
