The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, conducted a deep cleaning exercise at GPOA, Tower-3, 5th Floor in New Delhi as part of Special Campaign 6.0 and broader initiatives to promote textile waste collection and circularity. The activity was aimed at promoting workplace hygiene, efficient utilization of office space, and maintaining a clean and healthy working environment through thorough cleaning of workstations, common areas, and office spaces along with removal of dust and unwanted materials.

The initiative emphasized proper waste management, organized workspaces, and effective utilization of available office space to encourage employees to adopt good housekeeping practices and take collective responsibility for maintaining clean, hygienic, and well-organized workplaces. The campaign included high-level review meetings with continuous monitoring by officers, comprehensive corridor and walkway maintenance using heavy-duty mechanized scrubbing, executive conference hall care with complete shampooing and vacuuming of carpeted areas, fixtures and surface detailing including polishing of wooden wall paneling and digital displays, and workstation space optimization through clutter removal and waste management.
